Training Announcements

The Division of Forensic Services facilitates the Forensic Training Program, a series of mental health instructor development trainings for criminal justice personnel. In partnership with the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services and the NYS Commission of Correction, the Forensic Training Program includes:

  1. Police Mental Health Recruit Instructor Development Course (3-days);
  2. Police Mental Health In-Service Curriculum Orientation Training (1.5 days); and
  3. Suicide Prevention and Crisis Intervention for Jails and Police Lockups Instructor Development Course (2 days).
