We encourage all providers and facilities to find interpreter and/or translator services that meet their specific language needs. The list should serve as resource guide.
- The Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI)
Assists mental health providers and facilities in acquiring an appropriate translator and/or interpreter service for their agency, program or facility needs. - National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters
Trains and certifies agencies and its personnel to provide interpreter and/or translator services. - National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC)
A multidisciplinary organization whose mission is to promote and enhance language access in health care in the United States. - The New York Circle of Translators (NYCT)
Assists mental health providers and facilities in acquiring an appropriate translator and/or interpreter service for their agency, program or facility needs. - Registry for Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
National membership organization representing the professionals who facilitate communication between people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
