Office of Mental Health

For Patients, Their Families and Friends

Rochester Psychiatric Center (RPC) has been a provider of mental health services to the greater Rochester community for over 125 years. We deliver specialized inpatient care as well as a full range of supportive outpatient services. RPC is fully accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC). We provide care to all individuals regardless of their ability to pay.

Ways to Get Involved

Friends of the Rochester Psychiatric Center (RPC):

The Friends of RPC are a group of caring and concerned family members and local citizens. Their active participation and generous financial support has touched the lives of thousands of patients.

What they do:

New members are always welcome.

Volunteer Opportunities:

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available at RPC. At this time, the New York State Office of Mental Health permits volunteers 16 years and up to serve in most programs. Minors must have parental consent. All volunteers will receive a brief orientation before beginning their volunteer experience.
