PROS Performance Packets

Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) is a comprehensive recovery oriented program for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. The program seeks to integrate treatment, support, and rehabilitation in a manner that facilitates the individual's recovery. Goals for individuals in the program are to: improve functioning, reduce inpatient utilization, reduce emergency services, reduce contact with the criminal justice system, increase employment, attain higher levels of education, and secure preferred housing.

Six PROS Performance Packets are compiled biannually by the Office of Performance Measurement and Evaluation (OPME). The Statewide PROS Performance Packet includes figures and tables that aggregate information to the state and regional level while the each of the five regional packets focuses on individual PROS programs within each region.

More specifically, each packet includes information on the following:

  • The completeness of data submitted by PROS providers.
  • Length of stay trends and turnover rates.
  • Status of individuals at discharge.
  • Competitive employment and educational activity status of individuals currently enrolled in PROS
  • Rates of psychiatric hospitalization and emergency room use for individuals currently enrolled in PROS
