Transitional Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Housing for Adults with Serious Mental Illness

OMH is seeking proposals from non-profit organizations with experience in a) operating a licensed, mental health housing program, and b) serving individuals with a forensic history (involvement with New York State’s criminal justice system) and serious mental illness, to assume operational responsibility of an existing, newly constructed transitional apartment building on the grounds of the Bronx Psychiatric Center (BPC) in Bronx, New York.

Update - October 31, 2018

OMH has determined that additional time may be necessary for applicants to prepare applications/responses for both the Intensive Transitional Living Residence at Bronx Psychiatric Center - New York City RFP and the Transitional Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Housing for Adults with Serious Mental Illness/Operation of an Existing Transitional SRO on the Bronx Psychiatric Center RFP. As such, extensions are being given to the Key Events/Timeline. The new dates are as follows:

Website Proposals Due – 12/12/18

Anticipated Award Notification – 2/1/19

Contract Start Date – 7/1/19

Update – December 7, 2018

OMH is providing additional clarification for budget related questions.
