Young Adult ACT in NYC

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) announces the availability of funds for the development of a Young Adult Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team within the Borough of Brooklyn or the Bronx in New York City. The Young Adult ACT team will serve 48 individuals, ages 18 to 25, who have Serious Mental Illness (SMI), who have not been successfully engaged by the traditional mental health treatment and rehabilitation system and who can benefit from the specialty ACT Team’ goals which include helping young adults to become independent.

Please be advised that due to formatting issues on the Appendix B Budget Template that was provided (as an update) on OMH’s website on 8/25/21 that have the potential to not allow applicants to appropriately complete/fill-out the template, OMH is providing this notification to advise NOT to use the Appendix B posted on 8/25/21 and to use the one that was sent to all eligible applicants via email on 9/22/21.

Again, please disregard the Appendix B budget template that was provided as an update on OMH’s website on 8/25/21.
