Individual Placement and Support (IPS)

IPS is an evidence-based model of supported employment for people with serious mental illness. IPS helps people living with behavioral health conditions work at regular jobs of their choosing. To learn more, visit the IPS Employment Center's website Leaving OMH site.

All behavioral health programs across NYS may access three online staff training modules focusing on IPS. The Center for Practice Innovations (CPI) Leaving OMH site supports OMH’s mission to promote the widespread availability of evidence-based practices to improve mental health services.
