Employment Opportunities

Capital District Psychiatric Center (CDPC) provides inpatient psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation to patients who have been diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses and for whom brief or short-term treatment in a community hospital mental health unit has been unable to provide symptom stability. CDPC has outpatient treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults. CDPC also operates three adult community residences. Located in Albany, New York, CDPC is in the center of the service area and is within an hour's drive of the counties served.

CDPC employs a model of psychiatric rehabilitation that encompasses both program-based treatment and centralized skill-building groups to ameliorate symptoms, develop self-esteem, and create successful experiences for our patients. This philosophy of care, we believe, improves client outcomes and encourages individuals to develop independence.
