ABOUT US

Capital District Psychiatric Center is one of 24 state-run psychiatric facilities in New York State. We operate in collaboration with local agencies to ensure long-lasting recovery and support. Our model of rehabilitation includes program-based treatment and centralized skill-building groups. Our goals are to

  • create successful experiences for our patients

SERVICES

Inpatient Treatment
Capital District Psychiatric Center provides inpatient psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation to patients diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Our facility is for people who have not had success in short-term treatment at community hospital mental health unit.

Outpatient Treatment
We offer outpatient treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. We also operate three adult community residences in the service area.

Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Saratoga, Warren, Washington, Schoharie, Columbia and Greene counties.
