Family Court Mental Health Services

At the request of a judge, Suffolk County Family Courts provide mental health screenings to children and adolescents involved with court-related matters.

A social worker will make treatment recommendations to the Court and to the family. They will assist with arranging services in conjunction with the Court and the Department of Probation.
