Employment at Secure Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (STARC)

STARC is a secure treatment facility that provides evidence-based treatment, consistent with best practices in the field of sex offense-specific treatment, in a secure and therapeutic environment to people committed under Mental Hygiene Law Article 10.

STARC has two locations:

STARC has an extensive in-service training program for all departments and provides internship opportunities for several disciplines and a psychology practicum experience.

STARC – Bridgeview is located in Ogdensburg, NY on the St. Lawrence River, minutes from the Thousand Islands, a favorite resort and vacation area, and approximately 60 minutes from Ottawa, Canada. Ogdensburg is a superb place to raise a family. Several private and state colleges are located in the area, as are high-quality elementary and secondary schools. Private not-for-profit day care facilities are in close proximity (5 minutes) to the campus.

STARC – Oakview is located in Marcy, NY. The central New York region provides an affordable housing market, excellent public and private schools, abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, and nearby nationally recognized universities and colleges. It is located between the Adirondacks and Catskills and close to popular destinations such as Old Forge and Cooperstown, NY.
