Short-Term Transitional Residence programs give people a safe place to live and access to the services they need. The goal is to transition individuals back to the community and into a more independent housing setting.
The Office of Mental health is seeking Proposals from not-for-profit organizations to develop and operate a 10-14 unit Short-Term Transitional Residence (STTR) for adults with serious mental illness. The organizations must have experience in operating a licensed, mental health housing program.
OMH will award one program in Broome County and one program in Columbia County.

Please note that a budget detailing each of the 5 years is not required. In review of applications submitted in response to this RFP, the 'Full Annual Value Operating' budget column, included in appendix B, will be considered as applicants' anticipated budget in each of years 3, 4, and 5.
