MH253010 - Health-led Community Behavioral Health Crisis Response: Daniel's Law Pilot Program

The Office of Mental Health announces funding for the expansion and/or creation of community behavioral health crisis response pilot programs. The programs must be consistent with the Daniel's Law Task Force Behavioral Health Crisis Response Program. This procurement seeks to establish at least three (3) pilot programs:

  • One urban area program
  • One suburban area program
  • One rural area program

Please be advised that pursuant to Section 2.4/Eligible Applicants, the two mandatory documents required to be submitted as part of the application for this RFP are as follows:

  1. Notification of intent to apply to the LGU and
  2. Letter of Commitment from identified County chief elected/delegated authority or NYC Mayor/delegated authority that supports the development of the crisis response system pilot.
When posted, answer to Question 34 (Please Note: this is a change from the previous reference to Question 6) provides direction on where to upload these documents. If these documents are not received, the application will be deemed Ineligible and will not be reviewed.
