MH 253018 - Capital for Expanding Inpatient Psychiatric Capacity (Round 2)

This RFP provides $20 million in capital funds to expand access to inpatient psychiatric services.

These funds aim to:

• address shortages and expand capacity
• reduce emergency department boarding
• improve access to timely, high-quality care
• increase a hospital’s ability to serve children, adolescents and adults
• treat more people diagnosed with both mental health disorders and intellectual/developmental disabilities
