The Office of Mental Health seeks to expand access to crisis services for LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults through a dedicated crisis line. The selected organization must already operate a 24/7/365 crisis line for LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults. This is a recurring funding opportunity of $1.2 million.
Funding will also include a one-time $600,000 investment to support specialized training for current NYS 988 Crisis Counselors. The goal is to strengthen the crisis response system for LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults across the state.
