ABOUT US

Greater Binghamton Health Center provides an integrated network of inpatient and outpatient services for adults and children living in New York's Southern Tier.

We offer:

  • Evidence based and person-centered treatment
  • Recovery oriented programs
  • Activities to end inequality in treatment
  • Services to all populations in the community that we serve

Our goal is to help people in need of mental health services lead fulfilling lives in the community. We work hand in hand with our community partners in recruitment to grow a diverse workforce.

Inpatient Treatment

Our inpatient services include 68 beds in three distinct units for adults 18-65+. We also have 13 beds for young people, ages 5-17.

Outpatient Treatment

Adults (ages 18-65+)

  • Mobile Integration Team

Children and Youth

  • Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Center (clinic services up to age 18)
  • Adolescent Crisis Residence (ages 13-17)
  • Adolescent Day Treatment (ages 13-17)
  • Mobile Integration Team

OnTrackNY provides support for young adults (ages 16 to 30) who are impacted by unexpected changes in thinking and perceptions.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Greater Binghamton is proud to be a teaching and learning institution. We offer clinical internships in:

  • Therapeutic recreation
  • Pharmacy
  • Dietary
  • Health information management

Affiliated with Columbia University through the Geriatric Fellowship Program, we are a "training ground" for psychiatric residents to gain valuable skills and experience.
