About Manhattan Psychiatric Center (MPC)
Manhattan Psychiatric Center offers comprehensive, evidence based inpatient and outpatient treatments for adults with mental illness.
At MPC, we aim to:
- Include Families/Significant other(s) in treatment when appropriate (with permission from consumer)
- Assess all patients with a multi-disciplinary approach
- Develop personalized treatment plans with the aim of active rehabilitation
- Help our patients return to or achieve self-determined goals within the community
MPC is also a major training facility for:
- psychiatric residents
- medical students
- psychology interns and externs
- social work externs
- nursing students

MPC Services and Programs
- Community Services
MPC offers clinic and outpatient services to adults 18 and over. - Graduate Education Programs
MPC offers a psychology internship and a psychiatric residency. We also offer a psychiatric clerkship for medical students studying at St. George's University. - Inpatient Services
We offer several special programs as part of our inpatient services. - Residential Services
Crisis Residence and Transitional Living Residence services are available.
