The Consolidated Fiscal Reporting System (CFRS) is a web-based application that provides standardized fiscal reporting for the New York State:
The application contains schedules that capture financial information for budgets, an annual cost report, and a final claim. CFRs and CBRs generated by any other software will not be accepted.
Using the Security Management System (SMS), the provider’s security manager assigns CFRS Web roles to fiscal staff involved in completing or reviewing CFRs and CBRs.
A different set of permissions is associated with each role:
Reviewer:This role can review all CFRs/CBRs and CFR related documents within the application, including those not yet submitted to the NYS agencies. Reviewers do not have permission to revise and/or to submit a CFR/CBR or CFR related documents.
