ACT Team

A unique service delivering individual support in the community

The Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) promotes recovery by providing recipients with the tools to obtain and maintain housing, employment, relationships, and relief from symptoms and medication side effects.


Contact Information:

The ACT Program is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Its office is in the Butler Rehabilitation Center on the main campus of the Buffalo Psychiatric Center, 400 Forest Ave. The office number is 816-2935.

 
Who is eligible:

This program is open to individuals between 18 and 64 who have a primary mental health diagnosis and have had difficulty using services provided by traditional treatment providers (clinics, day treatment programs) in the past.

 
What do we offer:

The ACT team provides all aspects of mental health and substance abuse treatment, including psychiatry services. Individuals connected to ACT will not also be served at an outpatient clinic.
