Workforce Diversity and Inclusion
Overview
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion coordinates Statewide activities to increase the diversity of OMH’s workforce. Our goal is an inclusive and respectful environment across our work sites.
CLAS is a way to improve the quality of services provided to all individuals, which could ultimately help reduce health disparities.
We support the CLAS standards in our workforce development efforts: “Recruit, promote, and support a culturally and linguistically diverse governance, leadership, and workforce that are responsive to the population in the service area.”
