Enrolling PSYCKES Users
Access to the Psychiatric Services and Clinical Knowledge Enhancement System (PSYCKES) application is managed through the NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) Security Management System (SMS), a web-based application that OMH-licensed agencies and hospitals use to grant their staff members access to certain OMH applications, including PSYCKES. Each agency or hospital has a designated Security Manager who is authorized to grant access to users.
The SMS /Security Management System Reference Manual provides information about accessing and using the OMH SMS.
The PSYCKES Access Request form (493kb) was developed by a provider implementing PSYCKES. It is not required but is offered as an optional tool.
Support for assigning a Security Manager and using SMS is provided not by the PSYCKES team but by the OMH Help Desk.
